This is the interest check for Vella, a small, pan-fandom, invite-only game modded by Coco

amplitude, Amber

twistingkage, and Avery

daintily, exclusive to those on the mods' Plurk lists. It is a game that takes place in the Animal Crossing Universe.

Characters receive a mysterious "Nook Ticket" that, upon touching it, will put them into a deep sleep. Suddenly, they will wake up as a shooting star descending rapidly towards the shore of a mysterious island. Once they’ve gotten adjusted, characters are tasked with turning the island into a desirable, inhabitable space for villagers to live in through teamwork, creativity, and innovation. Weekly goals and eventually quests will be posted to help characters with the progression of the island — though these will also depend on character choices — and characters will have the opportunity to host events to attract villagers and visitors alike to their new civilization.

Vella is scheduled to run for 10 weeks max.
There will be a max of 25 35 characters in the game with a cast cap of 3 characters per canon. Only one character per person allowed. Mod characters do not count towards any of the caps. More specific information on caps can be found on the FAQ.
The game will have an intro log on its opening date; after that there will be weekly logs every Monday with special event logs every Saturday - Sunday. Please refer to the FAQ for more information on the game's format, as this is a short-term game.
This game is going to be slice-of-life.
Reserves will open on Saturday, June 20 at 6PM EST. You must have a reserve in order to play in Vella.
